Audubon Prints
You may remember from our Find Your Perfect frame series, but Audubon prints are a definite favorite of ours. If you aren’t familiar with John James Audubon, he was an American ornithologist (fancy name for someone who studies birds), naturalist (fancy name for someone who studies natural history) and painter whose seminal The Birds of America book helped identify 25 new species.
We chose one of his more iconic prints, a pretty pink flamingo and gave it - what else? - a pretty pink frame.
NASA’s Visions of the Future
One wouldn’t necessarily think of NASA as a source for art. But their Visions of the Future series utilizes imaginative travel destinations to seek to inspire us to be architects of our own future. We’re partial to the three free posters celebrating NASA's Deep Space Atomic Clock (below). This mission demonstrated technology that would allow a spacecraft to calculate its own trajectory rather than waiting for that information to come from Earth.

Museum Sites
What better time to go on a “digital tour” of some of your favorite museums? This site is a great resource for the best free museum art online, from the Guggenheim Museum to the British Museum, London. The Getty Open Content Program is amongst the best and most robust, as they make available all digital images to which the Getty holds the rights or that are in the public domain to be used for any purpose.
