New Frames For Fall: Jewel Tones And Modern Metallics
Remember that amazing Italian buying trip we took earlier in the year? Well, the products we sourced on that excursion have officially landed and are ready and waiting for your next framing project. Explore two of the new lines below and be sure to stay tuned for future introductions. With our vast, handpicked selection from all over the globe the only thing constant about our inventory is that it’s ever changing.
These collections are inspired by precious stones and vintage modern metallics - perfect for fall. Introducing Quarry and Zia.
QUARRY
The thing we dug most about this line is that it felt very romantic and inspired by precious stones. We could just picture this frame as the perfect enhancement to any boho decor vibe. Quarry has just the right amount of texture complemented by a hint of warmth and, of course, sparkle.
The collection features hand-applied gold leafing. The patina layer on top is tinted and burnished to reveal lights and darks in the crevices to look to like strata in a rock wall. Not to be left with a shortage of options, the collection consists of two profiles with gold-leafed sides in eight different jewel tones - ranging from indigo, hunter, and dark teal to warmer tones of gold, soft pinks and coral.
The painterly effect of Quarry’s finish makes it a natural match for fine art media like oil paintings, pastel and watercolor. But this is a collection that pairs just as well with vintage or modern looks.
However you choose to use it, Quarry is here to rock your world.
ZIA
Consider Zia your favorite Italian Aunt - the sensible one that you take after and that gave you your fabulous sense of style. She’s strong and hardworking with a steely exterior but look close and there’s a hint of undeniable fun.
The quality of finish and texture of Zia is not unlike well-seasoned cast iron which only gets better with age. The profile is a bit more modern and edgy so it’s got classic vintage style, but not too stuffy.
The simple metallic paint finishes come with a touch of antiquing. The four colors of Zia are also available in a larger 7/8” width profile and smaller 5/8” version.
You’ve probably noticed that Zia has an heirloom quality that pairs perfectly with vintage and sepia tones. But don’t overlook it for more traditional pieces like diplomas and documents.
