Find Your Perfect Frame: The Ziggy Stardust Queen

In a unique way, the custom framing process is much like falling in love. You start with literally thousands of choices. You don’t know exactly what you want and along the way you’ll cycle through some good ones, some ok ones and some downright bad ones. But over time you learn and when you find “the one” - you just know it.

In the series, Find Your Perfect Frame, we’re exploring the journey that takes your piece from which one? to the one. This time around, we take on Banksy’s take on HRM, The Queen - Ziggy Stardust style.

A bold piece and a bold frame? Seems like a natural fit. We go big out of the gate with colorful sequins.

Though sequins are an interesting starting point, there’s so many styles that could work with this graphic, iconic piece. Polka dots? Sure - why not? Ornate and grand. It would certainly be appropriate for the current resident of Buckingham Palace.

Sometimes we find it helps to keep your contenders in the picture while you add or subtract others to the mix. A wavy Prisma was worth considering, so we dropped it in.

While there’s no one right answer (remember, there’s someone for everyone!) the ornate frame felt on point for Her Majesty. Paired with a graphic chair and pillow, it’s our majestic take on royal decor.
