Celebrating Nature at the River North Design District Fall Gallery Walk
Artists Frame Service - River North was thrilled to participate in the River North Design District’s Fall Gallery Walk this September. The River North Design District is a pocket design community outside of the Merchandise Mart (just one block from our downtown store!) which boasts design, art and home furnishings offerings accessible to both designers and consumers.
Each fall, a collection of design showrooms come alive with art from some of the brightest artists on the scene, paired with vignettes from Chicago’s top designers. The result? Insta-worthy feasts for the eye to inspire anyone who wants inspiration to make their home a beautiful haven. The walk is free and open to the public and the vignettes stay on display for several weeks after the event (ours is up through October 11!)
This year, we were partnered with the talented Sarah Montgomery Design who selected gallery 1871 artist Shar Coulson to create an eclectic, elegant garden-esque dinner party setting. Celebrating the natural world through the organic abstraction of Coulson’s work, we staged a comfortable dining and lounging area as a backdrop for unexpected food and wine pairings and, of course, beautiful framing.
